The newly refurbished Hotel Ambra offers 37 rooms and apartments and is located in Kis Diofa Utca, a cobble stoned street in the middle of downtown Budapest. The hotel is close by the Opera House, the Basilica, the Jewish quarter with the largest synagogue in Eastern Europe. The metro station at Deak Ferenc Square is 10 minutes walk.

The first phase of the renovation of the hotel took place in the winter of 2006, with the new rooms being available from spring 2007. Each of the new bedrooms are done in a modern boutique style with comfortable furnishings, spacious bathrooms and free internet access.

Reception services are available 24 hours each day and our knowledgable receptionists are able to help with any requests or information that you require. We can assist with site seeing tours, restaurant recommendations and travel arrangements.

You must arrive to the hotel before 6 p.m. (local time: Greenwich +1) since your reservation is only valid until 6 p.m. After 6 p.m. it will automatically be cancelled, free of charge. If you are planning to arrive later than 6 p.m. please notify the hotel on the day of your arrival directly - by telephone or fax !
