Platan Park Hotel is situated in the central region of Zala County, one of the most beautiful areas of west Hungary with its gentle undulating hills, very famous for its abundance of thermal waters (Kehidakustany, Heviz). Platan Park Hotel was formerly a mansion of the Batthany family and it was converted into a hotel in the 1990's. The building is ideally situated near the thermal spa of Kehidakustany 3 kilometers away, and the spa of Heviz 8 kilometers away; there is regular public transport to and from these places (including Lake Balaton). Fly Balaton, an international airport, (10 minutes by taxi from the hotel), has recently started daily flights to and from England, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
